We believe it’s essential that customers at the last stop receive the same variety and quality of food as customers at the first stop. Each weekday, Tasty Trucks is left with a significant amount of pre-packaged food, which is then donated to the Vinnies Fitzroy and Footscray soup vans. From there, it’s distributed to the homeless and marginalised groups of inner Melbourne.
The Vinnies soup van service provides assistance to more than 700 people each night and serve over 230,000 meals each year.
It’s Tasty Trucks’ way of giving back to the community.
